An historic building with beautiful gardens in Sussex

Participants of a Heritage Plus activity based on the theme of 'Old Wives Tales' held at the WRVS Centre in St Leonards-On-Sea were taken on an outing to Michelham Priory, a beautiful historic property located near Hailsham, deep in the Sussex countryside.

During the visit everyone had the chance to view the gardens and the ancient water mill, and were given a guided tour of the house followed by lunch in the cafe.
