A schoolbag of personal memories

This schoolbag was the result of a Heritage Plus Activity held at the Crawley WRVS Centre in the Autumn of 2009.

 Over a ten week period a group of men and women met to discuss their memories and experiences of school.

During that time the group participated in making this wonderful schoolbag.  The dolls inside it represent each person and give some idea of their uniforms during that time. 

The book is full of memories, stories and anecdotes which could well remind you of your own schooldays.
