WRVS Heritage Plus event a big success

This 1940's intergenerational tea dance was held at St Richards Church in Eastbourne with the year five children from Langney Primary School .

The children displayed dancing skills that they had learned over previous weeks alongside WRVS dancers, through workshops run by Dave Romaine and organized by WRVS Heritage Plus.

For the event the children dressed up as evacuees and people were entertained with music from the era. Everyone had a wonderful time and people who came along were greatly impressed and entertained by the dancers.
