A special celebration for 'Older People's Day'

These video clips come from a 1940's Tea Dance at the Hillcrest Centre in Newhaven, organised in celebration of Older People's Day.

The event held on the 1st of October 2009 was organised by WRVS Heritage Plus and included a range of authentic 1940's entertainment.

It was attended by a wide range of local people as well as children from a local school who had an opportunity to learn about the past from the many older people who came along to the event.
