World War Two in the North African Desert

These photographs were taken by Ken Ashby who served with the Royal Airforce's photographic unit in North Africa during the Second World War. Ken used his considerable photographic skills to document the lives of those serving in the desert and the events he witnessed.  We are very grateful to him for sharing them with us.
