Collecting and recording the social history of people in the Peacehaven area
WRVS Heritage Plus are currently running regular drop-in sessions at Peacehaven Library, every Monday morning between 10am-12pm (excluding bank holidays), for local people to come and share their memories of the past and the local area.
We would like to know:
• What your life is like here in Peacehaven?
• Why you moved to the area?
• What was it like when you moved here and how has it changed?
• Were you born in Peacehaven? Have you lived here your whole life?
• Do you have a garden? What is it like?
• Did you / do you work in Peacehaven or own a local business?
We are looking for photographs* to add to our 'Past Peacehaven Map' of memories and stories. All information, memories, photographs and stories collected will be archived at East Sussex Records Office
Managed by WRVS Heritage Plus and supported by Peacehaven Library.
