My Grandparents

My Grandmother was born in 1878 in Hoxton North London.She was the eldest of 3 children. Her father was a bookbinder and had followed in the footsteps of previous generations of bookbinders. In fact there is evidence that the family owned businesses all through the nineteenth century. From documentation it appeared that they were reasonably well offer.

The beginning of it

On 19th December 1903 she married my Grandfather and moved to in North Haringey in North London, where she had four children, one of whom was my mother.
