WRVS Heritage Plus Newhaven and Peacehaven held an open event on the 25th June at the Hillcrest Centre.  Free tea, coffee and cake was served to anyone attending the event. People had the opportunity to find out more about the Heritage Plus project, reminiscence activities, the Mature Citizens Forum and Get Well Stay Well.

People were very interested in the project and in being interviewed on a one to one basis.  They also wrote their memories on postcards regarding holidays, the homefront etc.

Everbody enjoyed the free refreshments.

A special thank you to Veronica (Project Coordinator Eastbourne) who handed out raffle tickets, forms and post cards.
