From 'stepping out' to married life

During the summer of 2007 the WRVS in Eastbourne ran a series of reminiscence sessions around courtship as part of the Heritage Plus Project.

The members of the group were Allan and Betty, George and Pearl, Evelyn, Barbara, Pat, Sylvia, Meg and Marjorie.

The group met once a week and remembered childhood friends, growing up, a big night out, meeting future husbands and wives, weddings and married life.
