Outing on a steam train

A trip on the Bluebell Railway - February 2008
Julius Smit
Bluebell girls ... and guys!

A lovely outing on February 14th 2008 (Valentine's day) to the historic Bluebell railway in West Sussex. We took an old restored 1920s Pullman carriage pulled by an engine from the railway station for a jaunt up the old line which was closed by Dr Beeching in the 1960s.

Bygone days

The day was very luxurious, cream teas and waiter service and lots of laughter and memories of life in a bygone era.. certainly beats British Rail!
