Double wedding

I came to Eastbourne in 1948 to get married. My sister and I married 2 brothers from Eastbourne stationed near us in Halifax in the war. We came down and married them in a double wedding in 1948. People made fun of my accent when I came down here to Eastbourne. It's all different now, it used to be one accent on the BBC and now you hear all accents.
