Heritage Plus worked in partnership with Outreach3way in the Autumn of 2007, delivering 10 reminiscence activity sessions at the WRVS Community Centre in Crawley. The sessions were facilitated by our volunteer Gillian Lincoln.

The group of 6 participants had varying levels of learning difficulties and each week enjoyed coming together to discuss their favourite memories, stories, films, poems and music.

Subjects covered included, family, friends, animals, holidays and special events.

Evaluation work was undertaken as part of this workshop, on how to facilitate reminiscence activities with specific reference to people with learning difficulties. To find out more about this, please contact: heritagepluscrawley@wrvs.org.uk.
